board came with missing, cd3215. replaced it and i get 20v 144ma on charger. CPU heats up but no CPU vcore
resistance on vcore is 8ohm (phase 1 &2). CPU dead?
8 ohm is not short.
If board was messed up before by someone else, could be a nightmare.
A simple knocked off component can cause the problem.
A1534 boards are known for CPU problems, could be wasting time...
unfortunately for me customer is paying alot for data, i will have to even replace CPU if needed.
i dug alittle further, found that vcore power was not enabled by u7100.
and possible for you to help check if R7861 is supposed to be no stuff or i'm indeed missing a resister there
no other component that i can find that are missing related to SSD.
when you say Classic SSD failure, the NAND itself fail?
i see alot videos with same symptoms but they do a CPU reball instead and SSD is back.
sorry for ranting but WTF??? board came from a customer who previously passed to a shop who says can't be fix and needed board replacement.
she needed data but sabotaging the board for business? i'll make sure this shop is properly backlisted and known to all local shops and customers to stay away. they pulled 2 resisters R9376 for Nand control and R7861 for Vcore enable.
