Macbook boots just fine with a new battery and will charge it.
But when left for a day or two off charge and shutdown it flattens the battery and then won't boot.
CmiZapper Battery Tool reports a drain of 90mA even when shutdown as cells drop below 3v each. This looks large to me when a shutdown Fiat 500 [with faulty Bluetooth module disconnected] draws less than 10mA from its lead acid battery.
This goes to zero when I remove big screw.
Tried removing keyboard, trackpad and eventually all ribbon cables - no change.
Thermal camera shows a warm spot on T2 chip when shutdown.
