This arrived with no liquid damage but one of the left usb-c ports was burnt. Replaced usb-c connector. Worked only one day for customer but then came back with all of the ports not working and machine no longer powering on

No damage on board, looks pristine. At first board was stuck at 5v and intermittently went to 20v with intermittent charging.

Restored T2 firmware via DFU to rule out. Seemed to fix for a few hours but same issue returned.

Now when its plugged in its drawing 20V and 0amp draw

What should be checked next?

There are times still where all of the ports will seem to functioning the machine will power up and charging the battery but if unplugged and try different ports within a few minutes the same problem returns 20v at 0 amps

only shows 0 ampers w/ battery connected.

w/o battery connected it will go up to 0.72amps then back to 0 but assume thats normal since battery required for these to fully start? Can it really be battery issue even though it shows normal status???

I was expecting to get some voltages from the MLB.
Do you get correct PPBUS_G3H at least?
I mean to check when you get only 5V at USB-C port.

All USB ports have the same behavior?

A known good battery will help you to discard the battery problem.

If all AWAKE and SLPS2R voltages are present, machine should enter in DFU mode again.

With battery connected when the computer is running while the meter shows 20v at 0 amps PPBUS_G3H drops to 12.25v

at random times when the battery is charging PPBUS_G3H will be a steady 12.70V. If charge port is moved between ports to quickly, the battery icon will be stuck at plugged in but not charging for at times several minutes before resuming charging.

Could this be a failing U7000 or resistor?

If PPBUS_G3H drops to 12.27V means no good communication between T2 and U7000.
Does this happen only when battery is connected?

Just recieved a brand new replacement battery but same odd problem. still drawing 20v at 0.00 amps with the battery plugged in. At times when it does recognize the charger if its unplugged, the computer still thinks its plugged in battery icon will show plugged in.

"brand new replacement battery"
Doesn't mean "known good working" at all; unless got it from Apple.

Please, clarify if the machine works good without battery; correct and steady PPBUS_G3H voltage?
