Coffee spilled on keyboard. Arrived completely dead. Found corrosion around one of CD3215 chips. Fluxed and cleaned area. Board works perfectly now until Keyboard is connected. Connect keyboard and it sits at 5v 0amps. All keys feel responsive on keyboard, but I assume corrosion or short in KB, but just wondered before I go through hassle of removing keyboard if any other ideas. Thanks.

The keyboard has embedded electronic circuitry.
You can look inside for corroded components, or traces.
Likely no other way to solve the problem, than changing the keyboard.
