820-00923 About Ramcfg Configuration

Hello everyone,
Just want to be sure, if I want to change this ram config from 8gb to 16gb do I need to remove the other resistors and keep only ramcfg4, ramcfg3 and ramcfg0.
And one more question about ram chips can we say all ram chips works on all boards, or is there any trick or important detail I need to always check?

As per BOM specifications, this board only accepts Micron and Samsung RAM chips.
There are five RAM configuration lines, RAMCFG4_L to RAMCFG0_L.
Internal pull-ups are connected inside PCH.
Only need to connect RAMCFG resistors (to ground) on the lines mentioned to be Low (L) into BOM page.
Taking the example of 16GB Samsung, LLHHL.
