No liquid damage, J8500 in perfect condition.
MacBook came with cracked display (there was still image/backlight)
New screen fitted, Apple logo, progress bar and then blank screen.
Connected old screen and there is no image. Tested with another known good display and still no image/backlight.

When internal display is connected and external display all works fine on external but won’t detect internal display.

Checked that ‘new’ display on another MacBook and again Apple logo > progress bar > blank screen but when connected old screen all works fine.

PRAM reset did not help. Display is not detected and thats has been tested with original cracked screen and good known display. PRAM reset every time. Checked with new LCD flex cable as well.

Any idea?

There is only very short spike just after chime. Multimeter is slow but it show spike around 4V (tested without display).
