Hello,

With and without the battery connected, I get the 20v on charger and a charging battery symbol on the screen, but does nothing else.

Plugged in charger, I get 20v 0.75-1.2 amps for 25-30 seconds
  • This is with the board alone on the desk
  • After 25-30 seconds, it will go to 20v 0 amps until I have to replug the charger or trigger SMC_ONOFF__L

PPBUS_G3H = 12.6v
PM_PWRBTN_L = 3.3v
PM_PWRBTN_L = 0v when SMC_ONOFF_L is triggered
PM_SLP_S4_L pulses when SMC_ONOFF_L is triggered
  • stays on for 25-30 seconds along with CPU_VCORE
  • CPU_VCORE = 0.733 volts goes to 0.600 volts after 15 seconds or so then to 0 volts after 25-30 seconds
  • If connected to a display, it will show a charging battery symbol on the screen

Do you get charging, or low battery level logo?
I suppose SMC believes the battery is low and shutsdown.

Check what happens booting in SMC bypass mode.
Be sure to use original 87W charger.
