Hi guys.

I have this A1707 powering on and I get only backlight. No liquid, no burned parts, and no shorted lines on the LCD circuit. I noticed on the EDP_INT lines I have only 0.4v, how much it should have? I haven't tried another LCD, waiting for new stock of those models lcd. I have PP3V3_S0SW_LCD 3v, PP5V_S0SW_LCD 5v...

I suspect U9850, but before i go ahead and change it, any ideas?

Test with known good LCD assembly first.
A1706/8 models should serve for test.

Did you check USB activity and external video?

I just received a new LCD, and it shows an image with it. Maybe an LCD flex cable issue?

A problem with any video flex from display assembly, should still show image; with stripes, flickering lines.
The problem can be on the T-CON board, or LCD itself.
