820-01041 liquid damaged

board with water damage, it takes 1.4 Amp, turns on and shows an empty battery sign, but doesn't charge the battery(or a new battery) and then turns off and goes to 0 Amp, what is SMC bypass mode? How can I try the SMC bypass mode?

Sounds like a bad battery to me. Does it start off the charger with the battery unplugged?

No it doesnt.. i noticed that that line has 0.5 ohm resistance to ground.. thats a short right?

I hope you didn't measure diode mode, or ohm scale, with power applied.

Empty battery sign appears starting on charger only (no battery connected)?
