Something else damaged by liquid.
The affected connector has direct connections with MLB.
Do not think that liquid didn't affect MLB.
A spike from backlight output to a data line, went back to MLB, of course.
Sometime only U9850 gets bad, but not always; is question of luck.
Be sure U9850 is properly soldered and surrounding components in place.

did it 2 times all look good...where else can i check?
Do you get 3V3/5V_S0SW at J8500?

DP_INT_HPD should be high just with lcd connecting?
DP_INT_HPD can only go high if LCD is connected.
If stays low, PCH cannot detect LCD presence; internal eDP output is then disabled.
You have a problem with LCD assembly, J8500, or video flex.
