820-01041 PP2V5_NAND_SSD1 was shorted

Board had a short on C9588 from some corrosion, U9580 was also shot, after replacing those board gets up to 20v and 0.48a but comes back to 20v and 0.01a, while trying to start I can see that all NAND chips and T2 heat up a bit while the board is near 0.48a, the information on this board is important.

I'm just now starting to use the oscilloscope
When I check L9581 on the oscilloscope it works fine once the board has the 20v and even when it goes down to 0.01a, L9580 only works for a few seconds after the board gets 20v then it stops, both have the expected 2.5v

Ok nevermind, this board is working now, this is my first T2 board and I did not know it was turning on, for some reason I thought the startup behavior was the same as say 2016-2017 and it is not.

To avoid this in the future how do I know when a T2 board is fixed?

On a A1707 the startup power is as shown in the image attached, for some reason I thought I would be about the same...
