Customer told Coffee was dropped on it. Actually it looks really clean.

However I noticed that if everything is plugged it gives me 5.15V on the power cord amp meter PPBUS = 0v.

If I unplug that cable which connects the sound and I guess the power button to the board itself it goes to 20V. PPBUS_G3H = 12.58V

However no image on the screen, no fan spin, and no external image.

Could it only be to replace the power button?
Does this model of logic board do not have auto power on? First time with this brand new model.

Machine should turn on by itself, when charger is connected.
Also pressing any key, trackpad clik, or open lid.

Liquid spill on audio board is very dangerous for T2.
Some T2 data lines are connected there.
Leakage from PPBUS_G3H to data lines is a classic issue on this board.

Inspect audio board on both sides.
Touch ID may be also corroded.

Yeah the audio board seems to burned.

I tried many times to turn on the machine without audio board connected but it's totally dead. I guess I need to buy a new audio board to go ahead. How about to Touch ID is there any test I can do beyond visual inspection?

BTW

Removed the audio board
The other side is really clean and good the bad side is the one when you open the lid.
Its in short. I even tried removing some small caps... But its total garbabe.

Since without this board the machine should AUTO POWER on. Where should I go from here?

Board should start by itself with J6100 disconnected.

Check diode mode to ground on all T2 related lines going to J6100.
