unknow history, no water damage..
board alone:
charging start 5v go up to 20v and the pulse and start over.. look like when he get to 20v he collapse..
PPBUS 12v down to 5v and up again at the pulse..

ok one of the usb-c|(near hdmi port) show charge just on one side...if i upside-down the charger is not show nothing..
can it be UG400? even if it just one of the sides? or there is mosfet for each side?
no short on this area..

CD3217 chips use internal MOSFETs pair to control the power rail.
Check diode mode to ground on the CC1/2 pins.

UPC2_BUSPOWER seems to be tied to ground (RG421).

Check diode mode to ground on all JG600's pins; compare with good board, if possible.
Remove USB-C connector from chassis and inspect its terminals.

look like it short...very low light lashing at the voltmeter...but again just on JG600 and just on one of the sides

im checking just on JG600 (the problem is just on this port)

Maybe is better to insist on the other ports first.

If restart when goes to 20V, possibly problem on a secondary voltage.
Which should appear when board tries to boot.

Any chance to test with Magsafe 3 charger?

without battery orang light of 1 sec then of to 1 sec and then on and stay...
PPBUS-12v
with battery the orange light flashing on/off all the time..
