820-02655-A - PP3V3_S2 short, now 5V, no boot

Hey guys,


machine was untouched. No liquid damage. Found a short on PP3V3_S2.

UF600 was the bad guys. Replaced. Short is gone. UF500 was not functioning. Replaced same donor board, same code termination (B13). Now good diode mode readings on: RH002, RH003, RF329, RF328.


Left usbc port (JE900) reading: 5.12V starting from 0.2A then jumps to 0.4A and stays at 0.23/0.24

Same behaviour on JE700.


Different behaviour on: JE701 - 5.16V 0.24A jumps to 0.3A then to 0.13A OR 0.8A

Reballed and replaced also UF400. Same.



PPBUS_AON: Wonderful 12V there.


What to do?

Did you maintain chips position when soldered them on the board?

Just in case, you should try to reflash/replace corresponding TBT ROMs; make backups anyway.
