Hello,
I have a mac pro that its working backplane was sold from my customer and he has installed a non working one and brought it for repair, so far I know that everything else was working.
My only chance for fix is to test another bios [I have fixed one before].
So far I have made a dump of its TSOP40 eeprom but I was unable to find one at Internet.
Any hope for it?

sometimes turns on and off after few seconds and other times runs the gpu fan at full speed without turning off

I'm pretty sure this will not be a BIOS issue. If it sometimes works just fine then it could be any bad soldering/cracked trace and thus not worth fixing.

It never works ok, it only has 2 different states of failure, power and off soon after or power on and run gpu fan at full speed.
At both states it never chimes.
I know it doesn't really worth spending time at it but for a bios I'd try it.

Only common issue on these is Q1A1/A2, they are next to the HDD data/power connector. They die because of hot swapping a HDD or inserting a HDD with shorted 5V line.
