820-2523, green light ok, PPBUS_G3H, PP3V3_S5 ok, won't turn on (over 10min foreplay)

Hi guys its me again.


This one has no turn-on pads so you have to use your tongue. last joke before giving up - there is 3.3v on R5710 but nothing happens when I take this to ground.

It was ld and gave it a bath, green light came on after gently reflowing the SMC with some flux.

L7220 seems not shorted to ground but after applying power and disconnecting, there is a .001 to .003 reading diode mode with respect to ground.

Large mofo this one so I do not know where to go next... I have not tried injecting voltage at all.

so PPBUS_G3H: 12.5V, PP3V3_S5: 3.25V, U7100 area nice and shiny...

when you press the power button does PM_SLP_S4_L rise to 3.3v?

it does not.

measured at R7812... also checked continuity to R7810, both resistors at their nominal values.

Is SMC_ADAPTER_EN high? Does PM_PWRBTN_L move at all when you press the power button?

@probe 122, SMC_ADAPTER_EN is high at 3,41V.
@probe 1083, PM_PWRBTN_L goes from 3,41V to 0 when I press the on/off button.
