and im not sure exactly what you mean, i dont have a scope, all i can tell you is something happens on that line when the smc_onoff_L pads are shorted, so im giving you the resistance to ground and diode mode to ground on the test point
You should not measure resistance or diode with power applied. You should clearly be able to see the voltage drop and come back when you press power button.
Just out of interest... Did you happen to buy your "genuine" charger from Amazon or eBay? I bought 4 chargers from these fuckers 2 of which died and 1 would not power a board without battery. At least one of them works. They all have a lovely Apple logo on them and all say 85W and look the part but they don't do what they should.
