Hi I have a board that I purchased it wasn’t turning on it had r5281, r5280 that where 2k each I replaced them with 1k and now I get a orange light. I also replaced c9560 as usual and I get a fan spin but no chime or video. When I remove the ram it does beep. With The usb mouse flashes about every second but not like normal.it’s like a steady pattern. My ppbus has a weird voltage 12.47v but it’s stable.
oddly all my other lines are not low and stable

PPBUSS_G3H 12.47
On isl
17,18 I have 3.0 ohms
27,28 I have 20.3 ohms

PP3v3_S5=3.3v
PP3v3_S3=3.3v
PP3v3_S0=3.3v
PP5v_S3=5v
PP5v_S3=5v
PP5v_S0=5v

PPVCORE_S0_CPU 1.04 and it doesn’t seem to drop :/ to a booting voltage

Looks like you have problem with DDR slots.
Did you try different RAM modules, one at a time?
DDR3 test card available?

Yes I have a ddr test module I will try it. thanks for the suggestion. I tried ddr 8500 and 10666 one slot at a time same results

Ok on ddr test module all are brightly lite except DQ14 I traced it back. it looks like it’s coupled with PP1v05_S0GPU but many are connected to the same line. In the manual which is Chinese :/ Ok I just re-read it “All must have the same brightness: a too dark diode can signal an open circuit, while a too bright diode can signal a short circuit.”

So I’m guessing cpu data lines are in short either another pch or cpu :(. Is this another “donor board” for the stock pile ?

DQ14 line is shared between CPU and both DDR slots.
If the same LED fails on both slots, then broken solder/trace under CPU.
