I read somewhere it is possible to convert these board to UMA but after pram reset all is lost. I have 2 for my own use and I would like to do it. Somebody have the info how to do it?

Yes it can be found with Google. These is a simple script you can run from "single user mode" I believe. Google is your friend here.

This is what I dont understand. If it has gpu problems and OS X is not load, how can I run single user mode.

Hold down Command+S when turning on. You will be booting into a command line only.

Ok, thats ok. But script I have is only under Ubuntu. Is there for os x?

No idea, this is not something that I have ever messed with or ever will. It is a hack that is not very good really. High Sierra also introduces a no backlight bug from sleep. Just replace the GPU and do a proper fix.
