820-2915 video problems

This MBP comes to me with video problems. It load OS X and 1 minute later reboot. Sometimes screen presents video issues. GPU was 216-0810005
I replaced the GPU and put 9000 and now it is worst. It reboot before loading OS X. Already tried another hdd, usb hdd, one ram socket, different ram. Vram is samsung.

Should I move any strap resistor?

I forgot to say that I replaced 9000 2 times and same story. It is not bad soldering.

Have you tried running ASD os and ASD efi?

note: this model is well know for bad video card. if you try to boot to ASD o.s. and get only white screen you're screwed and its the video card.

How much VRAM do you have on board?? 2 modules or 4 modules?? I´ve never done this, replace 81005 for an older 9000, i´m not sure if it does work...

It has 4 vram. I did it several times and it works.

Does not work on all models. Replace with the correct chip first!
The 0809000 chip is very garbage and the performance decrease you get from this would be unacceptable too.

I put 0005 and now works ok. I put 9000 as I didnot know if 0005 is really new.

Well that is a useless repair you did now. Order 0005 they are easy to find new. You cannot give back a machine with an unknown GPU.....

Yes, I put 0005 and it works well know. I mean before I put 9000. Now laptop is with 0005.
