820-2936 No Power

Now the thing got stranger! I re-soldered the SMC in place as I would give up and give this machine back to the costumer. When I reassembled the device, I put on the battery that had 60% of charge and on battery the machine powers on and I get beautiful 3.42V on L6995! The machine does not charge the battery though and neither gives green or orange light on charger, but this shit is working on battery now! What should be my next step?

Change R/D6990...

Replaced both... Same results... Gave up on this one! Will give it back to costumer and move forward because the pile is getting bigger! Thanks for the help anyway.

If the board works on battery only, then 3V42 power supply is OK.
You have a problem with the voltage coming from charger to 3V42 input...
