820-2936 no sound

This board has no sound, bit it chimes. I understand that sound circuit is ok. Customer told me that there was something in audio jack and they removed it. As they touched sound jack could be this bad sound jack and I should replace it or there is something that I can measure before?

I replaced headphone jack today.
Now no sound on speakers.
And only one channel works on headphones. Any idea what more to check? Still chimes when power.

Under os x, with headphones it let me control the sound, but only with speakers I cannot control volumen.

Check if pin 1 and 2 of J6700 are shorted without a jack plugged in.

Yes they are shorted.
