820-2936a with water damage. Have no green light and already reflowed the smc. bad trace damage and missing pads on q5310 pins 4 and 5. replaced q5310 and ran jumper from pin 4 to f6905 and r5311 but still no power anywhere on board and no green light.

Also have jumper from pin 4 of u6901 to r6929 and pin 1 on u6900.

What to try next?

Replaced F6905 and still 0V on F6905 along with 0v on all pins of the dc in connector. Using a known good magsafe.

Why did you replace F6905, just measure the voltage there. If there is really 0V there then there must be a short somewhere on the DCIN line shutting down the charger.

Thoughtf6905 could be bad since you said if f6905 could be the cause of the problem. checked everything on dc in line and nothing is shorted

Connect external power supply to magsafe and check current draw. Something must be shutting down the Apple charge with an overload else there would be at least a couple of volts on F6905.

plugging in external power supply achieved a fan spin and green light. New issue now is ground of c7524 is boiling hot. Replaced c7524 and but still same issue. Gets so hot that the solder melts. Also r7524 was burned and replaced.
