820-3023-A Passes ASD (OS and EFI) but AHT never finishes

Board had liquid damage previously and has subsequently been repaired, boots macOS and "seems fine", though the one sticking point for me, and one I'd like to get an opinion on, is that the built-in AHT (internet loaded one) never finishes, instead over the course of a few hours the progress bar peaks at about 80% done and the mouse cursor updates gets progressively less frequent till it's about no more than 1Hz update rate.

Something I should be concerned about, or just an oddity?

I've never use AHT. To be honest, I always rely on ASD OS, EFI AND MRI and forgot about the AHT. try MRI because sometimes ASD doesn't pick up everything.

I don't have a copy of the MRI (any of them). Anyone have a pointer? I'm still a bit perplexed about the AHT behaviour though, while I know it's generally not regarded as worth the time running, it still does concern me that there's something causing that odd behaviour.
