I ran ASD OS and got;

Check that the CPU heatsink is properly attached, using product spec theta dh + 75 percent guardband.
Error -- 255 [Unknown result code 0xff]

I have removed, cleaned and reseated the heat sink with some nice fresh thermal paste.

ASD EFI passes no worries.
Run it three times now.

Check all temp sensor readings in ASD hardware profile. No fan error in ASD either?

Only error in ASD is the CPU Heatsink one.

Will check the readings now.

Some more info;

The machine is slow. Booting of an SSD takes longer than you would expect. This is a known good install and known good test chassis.

The activity monitor shows 100% CPU usage.

Any history on this machine? BIOS chip messed with?

Not sure on history, came from another shop.

Board looks really clean and tidy. Doesn't appear to have had anyone mess with it.

Yes, it has been bench tested with known-good everything I could think of.

I really don't know. Make a few pics of all sensor readings in EFI ASD, maybe I can spot something.
