820-3115 no PM_slp_s4_L

job from angry customer, job sat in repair queue for 4 weeks, demanded macbook back, refused to pay for return shipping, sat here for the last 6 months.
possible vomit damage, was ultrasonic before working on it due to the smell
no PM_SLP_S4_L, PM_SLP_S5_L
ppbus_g3h, 12.53. pp3v42_g3h, 3.482, pp5vs5, 4.963, pp3v3_s5, 3.302 PP3V3_S4, 0.552
no s3 rails present, because of pm_slp
PM_PCH_PWROK 0v
after reflowing the smc i now have PM_SLP_S4_L
now i get
all s5, plus, pp5v_s3 0.5v (no short to ground) pp3v3_s3 0v P3V3S3_EN 0v
checked pm_slp_s4_L again and now is 0v again

Could be anything depending on where corrosion was.

Could still be crap under SMC or PCH. Check voltage on C1802/03. Was there crap around U2600, if so replace it.

Now look up the difference between 2936 and 3115 clock chip!

i did, the pinouts are the same, the lines coming in and out are the same, from what i can tell its the same chip

if they were even a bit different i wouldnt have used it

One is the A version and the other V version. Why take the risk of there being some small internal difference? \

I still suspect crap under the SMC too.
