820-3115 - No trackpad

Working on a 820-3115 with no trackpad. Found that PP18V5_Z2 is missing on the connector, confirmed PP3V3_S4_TPAD is present. Traced it to U5805 and found the following readings.

1 - 0.053
2 - 5.07
3 - 0.000
4 - 0.185
5 - 0.001
6 - 0.000
7 - 0.000
8 - 0.037



So I replaced it but having the same results. Any ideas ?

PP5V_S5_CUMULUS is present???' If yes, try another trackpad..... Z2_BOOST_EN should be high but it wont if trackpad is not detected...

On L5800 I have 5V on pin 1 but nothing on pin 2 Based on schematics and board view I should have a filter there however these just look like test points ? Im confused.

Sorry my mistake, schematic says pin 18 not connected for Z2 Flex, try another trackpad and flex cable.........

L5800 is NO STUFF so it's not on the board. Is the keyboard working?

The keyboard is working but covered in corrosion.

I'd first try a known good trackpad+cable. After that you need to check all connections from the connector to U5701, could be corroded trace.
