820-3209-a PPBUS 8.20-8.40 V

Got this board that fan spins but nothing more.

First ppbus was 8.2 V and i changed SMC from donor board. Now when plug magsafe it has no light. and ppbus is 8.2V if reset SMC i fan spins and ppbus is 8.4V but macbook doesnt boot.

SMC_RESET 3V

Any idea? Bad SMC?

Could be solder problem on SMC.
Reflow and carefuly tap it until dance a bit.
If still the same, reball it.
Finally changed it, if still same issue.

I have a board like this with a similar defect, it presents PPbus_g3h 8.4v, PP3v42_g3h--3.4v , would the SMC be the defect? I have already replaced the u7000 and do not contain oxidation or corroded components.

Please do not hijack another thread.
Same symptom can be caused by different issue.
Open new thread, as you will need to post various signals and voltages...
