DO these things exist? I have already found the ones for RAM. I have successfully changed the memory on a 4G board to 8G but I had to move a few resistors around before the board would see it. Where are the resistors that set the clock frequency.

No, is all handled in EFI and multiplies/clocks are locked on these CPUs.
