This board initially was only drawing 20ma After changing a few components I now have all s0 rails up. Fan spins unit draws 150ma (Occasionaly jumps to over 250ma thern drops back) but no usb activity/Chime.
I have reballed the smc and tried a bios file from a different forum
(couldnt find one here)
ppbus_g3h is 8.58
pp3v42_g3h is 3.42
PPVcc_S0_Cpu 1.7V Cpu doesnt get warm.

Smc bypass mode draws same current.

Hi thanks, many places over the board.
I trawled through many posts looking for a link to known good bios dumps for this specific board and couldnt find any.I replaced so far u7200 corroded and no cpu vcore before replacement, C102 was short, U1950 had .5v on pin3 before changing it, Spillage under Smc so reballed it (Might replace it and see if it helps). U7400 had corrosion and broken trace on it so replaced and fixed trace.

First symptom was 19ma no charger led so current situation is 150ma, fan spin No Usb activity.
All spi resistors checked ok.
Will try one of those bios files .
Do you think there is any point in replacing the Smc? I had a 00165-a recently with something a bit similar and I replaced the Smc and it worked.

tried those dumps but still the same.

I changed Smc but same issues , then lighty reflowed underside of Cpu/Pch now when apply power it quickly jumps up to over 150ma then back to 19ma and jumps between 19ma and 21ma. Is it possible there is a short somewhere? as there was slight liquid damaged on the underside of Cpu that was short cap c1204 which I replaced at start of troubleshooting.

"lighty reflowed underside of Cpu/Pch" will not burn eventually crap accumulated underneath CPU...

What I meant was I heat the underside of the board and used original nc-559 flux and reflowed the cpu/pch then afterwards ran ipa under the cpu
