820-3476-A SMC question

I had a shot SMC_SCL line (full shorted to ground), not seing a battery, smc was hot, removed and short gone. Replaced an SMC from donnour board and it’s bad, it spins 2-3 seconds, stops, and spin forever. Fan is at full max right after pluging magsafe...Pretty confident for the soldering.

My question: is there any difference from late-2013 or 2014 820-3476-A SMC’s?
thanks

History: water damaged with bad ISL6259, replaced ISL and board properly booted except not seing battery because SMC_SCL line was shorted to ground.

Removed bad SMC and no more short, replaced smc from donnour board of same model and now it doesn't boot, fan is fast and furious right after plugin in magsafe. spins once, stops, and spins again forever.

I will check presence of voltage at all big coils when I am back to town but I sincerely think it's a bad replacement smc, that's the only thing I did to the board.

How often do you experience bad replacement smc from donor board? Very rare in my case maybe 1 bad smc over 25...

Thanks

Yes so if it was turning on before you just likely have a bad SMC. You can get bad ones from donors it does happen.

You can never know the integrity of a SMC from scrap board.
In fact you got a dead board, with unknown reason/history.
Personally, I never got bad SMC from donor boards...

Thanks Johnb8812 and 2informaticos,
In fact maybe a discarded donnour board for who knows witch reason. That is so miserable boring long process... I will replace it again and let you know.
