Hi Duke,!!

I have PPBUS, PP3v42, PPvrtc, 3.3 Volts rail working good.SMC_PM_G2_EN is ok!! But PM_SLP_S4_L is missing ( its pulsing!!! )!!! can you guide me, thanks:)

The day before the incident, he uses the computer perfectly

Has Duke always say, Traces and resistors from U6100, corrosion on U1900, corrosion under SMC, exact voltage on PPBUS_G3H? Have you tried SMC reset?? Corrosion on J6100?

Thanks Aprendiz!! i have a mistake, the BRD model is 820-4924 excuse me!! And PM_SLP_S4 is pulsing, it ranges from normal voltage to zero, and then starts again , all this very quickly.

NO CORROSION ON JTAG, neither on SMC.
SMC RESET FORMAL PROCEDURE ( Keyboard One ) NO WORKING, BUT ALTERNATIVE PROCEDURE PRESSING POWER BUTTON FOR 5 SECONDS IS WORKING GOOD, BUT NO CHANGES ON FUNTIONALITY

VOLTAGE ON PPBUS_G3H IS 12.57

Is the battery ok? I think these 820-4924 boards need a connected battery to start.

You can disconnect internal keyboard and try external USB if you want to rule out bad kbd.

60w original magsafe charger?

No short on power rails? Witch one is missing starting from S5.

Hi Jadao, i ve other board That is working , not need battery connected, 60 W original charger yes :) i need yo check first S0, S5, i AM confused on That states, nevertheless i Google them, but still confuse, i need to check First S5 raíls ?

Hi Titotinton, yes start checking power rails from S5. And see if any is missing or shorted, pulsing,...

pm_slp_s4_l pulsing and
pm_slp_s5_l too

S4 rails pulsing, from 3.4 to 0.350 mv, and start again

Pulsing power can be anything. Check if CPU power is also pulsing on L7310. These pulses will be very short and usually hard to see on a multimeter.

L7310 on one of the working board, diode mode measure is 0,006 (12.4 ohms, 1.875 volts),
other workign board is 0,007 (13.6 ohms, 1.874 volts).
non working board 0,012 (23 ohms,pulsing 3 volts to 0 volts and starts over)

aditional info:

diode mode reading on ppbus on 2 working boards is 117 , and the affected board is 140.

Duke, the ppbus with 140 is abnormal, can this be the issue ? How can i troubleshoot it? I need this Logic To work, hére on Argentina There is a lot of económical issues, And i need the money badly ??

There is nothing wrong on PPBUS_G3H, Duke asked you if CPU power is also pulsing and no answer for that..

Are you checking the board under microscope???
