- My initial problem was a short on the P3V42_G3H.
- I injected 2.V 500mA on P3V42_G3H and the short gone (very quickly).
- I worked normally with the computer and the battery was charging normally.
- After Some days the short on P3V42_G3H returned.
- I injected 2V 500mA on the P3V42_G3H (during the operation i accidentally inverted the polarity) and the short gone again.
- After some visual inspection with a microscope i found some corrosion near C5007 and replaced it.
- The computer booted but without charging the battery.
- I checked at the system information and i have information about the battery, cycles, percentage, etc.
- I tested the battery in aonther computer and was ok.
- Yesterday the R7020 burned.
- I replaced it and now its working again without charging the battery.
RIght now i don't have another computer to test the battery again. Is there any other alternative (for example removing Q7155) to test the battery?
- Bad battery... I measured 0 V both methods. (making a short and directly on the J7050.)
- On the Battery pcb circuit (under the sticker) i measured 12V. it seems that the battery circuit is not ok.
I will order a new battery today.
