Hey,

this one is the second time it comes back!!!

First time the problem was C7376 shorted i replace the capacitor and realize the machine only work's with my fake charger! I replace the Q7180 2 times no changes, only works after to replace r7012.

After 2 weeks this one comes back with same problem!

It has happened to me many times, i repair many machines with a shorted cap or some times corrosion on simple component and after repair the main problem next the machine don't charge with a fake charge!

This one is giving me a headache!

"820 3536, Not charging with original charger

the machine don't charge with a fake charge!"
More clearly possible???

Do you get PPBUS_G3H and 3V42 with original charger?
What about with fake one, or bench power supply?
Did you check D7012?

I'm sorry for my mistake! i want to say original charger on "the machine don't charge with a fake charge!"!

But on this moment for me complicated more because i disassembly the macbook and the motherboard start to work with original charger!!

I did not want to send it back to the client and 1 week later comes again! this is inconstant! do you have any advice so do not come back to it ?? thanks

Okay, to avoid mistakes:

Original Charger - without battery plugged the machines start well
- with battery plugged i don't have green light and machines don't work

Fake charger - with/without battery plugged the machines start well but don't charge the battery

i can see 4% on battery i think it's not a battery problem.

The machine starts on battery only?

Connect both charger and battery.
Then post U7100 voltage pins 9 & 15.
Check resistance between pins 17/18 and 27/28.
Also try to start in SMC bypass mode.

I was wrong again! I forgot that I can only see if it is charging when I enter to the OSX! Small change:

Fake charger - with/without battery plugged the machines start well and charge the battery

U7100 voltage pins 9 & 15 - 0V & 0.066V

resistance between pins 17/18 and 27/28 - 6.3ohm & 23.6ohm

already tried to do reset SMC with BATTERY and Charger and the machine start but don't have green_ light! only assume battery!

i don't know if help but i remember when it comes for the first time i needed to replace DC-IN (820-3584) for another one!

tha nks

MLB should start without LIO flrx connected, just the 5 pins DC cable required.
Post voltages for U7100 with original charger only; 2, 3, 12, 13, 14, 17, 19, 20, 27.
