Got this MacBook Pro Retina 15

It had some minor liquid spill. Some sticky juice. Not very much mostly some sticky stains on top of cooler and RAM. Trackpad also little sticky.

It was not charging the battery so I tried another battery and this charged fine.

Then I thought I would clean those sticky stains and cleaned it in uc.

Now I have got the chime but no image on either internal or external screen and fans goes slowly up to full speed.

Where do I start with this issue ?

Thanks

Did you let it dry sufficiently before powering it on? Do you get a chime? Was the liquid/residue near the BIOS/clock area?

SMC bypass still no image or backlight.

Same issue but on SMC bypass fans go full throttle right from the beginning (the normal startup starts quiet and fans go faster and faster and ends in full speed after couple of minutes)

It is trolling me...

I ran it through uc again. But now I have lost GPU VCORE. GPU gets hot though

Now I have no P3V3GPU_EN

Symptoms still the same: Chime but no image.

Resolder U9300. Do not pull it, just heat it up a bit and drag your iron along the pins with some fresh solder. This should at least solve GPU Vcore issue.
