820-4924-a keyboard no working

is anybody had this issue with 820-4924-a keyboard no working? i replaced for new but is still this same. external keyboard work. any idea?

Some guy here told me it can be the flex cable or trackpad too. Try replacing flex cable leading from trackpad to board.

it worked for me.

same issue here. i was just looking at one. hate to change keyboard only to find out its not the issue

Try trackpad flex cable first. If doesn't work try new trackpad. After that, inspect board for liquid damage.

Keyboard is connected to U4820/30 on the logic board.
These chips code the information and send it via I2C to trackpad, where is coded again and send it to PCH, via USB, or SPI...
So check trackpad too and its flex.

ok fixed. i disconnect and reconnect trackpad flex on both sides and now is working. thank you guys.. another lesson learned

No you need to replace the flex as it is bad! This will come back......
