my motherboard part number is 820-3787-a. 2 boards. in 1 power on cpu and graphic working but no display . no dim display either.
In second board dim display. I am unable to locate the fault because i dont have much idea about the flow of signals. How complete dislpay works pls guide . If you have proper video or in writing how much will it cost.? Thanks

Please, open separate threads for each board.
Starting with Retina displays, Apple introduced a complex backlight control.
PCH sends backlight PWM adjust signal to display, which resend it to backlight circuit through I2C bus.
Always image must be activaed before backlight appears; this avoids image flickers, or artifacts.
