A1278 820-2879-B Power Question

Hello Everyone
So I am currently working on a A1278 820-2879-B motherboard and would like it to prompt to boot. Can someone please share some knowledge on how to make this motherboard boot outside of its enclosure. I would like to run my Thermal camera on it to track down some stuff. Motherboard currently gets the green light on power cord so SMC is good.

Close R5014/15 pads for a short time; using tweezer tip...

Better solder tiny wire (isolated) at SMC_ONOFF_L.
Every time you touch the ground with it, is same as pressing power button.
