Hi,

I have an A1466 820-00165-A without green light.

PP3V42_G3H = 3.4V

On PPBUS_G3H I only get 8.17V and on SMC_RESET_L I get 0.027V

Can you help?

Must fix SMC_RESET_L first.
Post U5110 voltages (all pins).
If all good, remove R7100 and test the signal again.
Check R5100 and be sure J6100 is clean.
If still the same, remove U5110 and check if signal goes high.

R5100 had 50K and I replaced. Now it has 97K ohm

J6100 seams OK

U5110:
1=3.4V
2=0V
3=3.4V
4=2.751V
5=0.115V
6=3.4V
7=3.4V
8=3.298V

It seams that SMC_RESET_L is low. Shall I replace U5110?

I didn't do the tests because I thought that the value of pin 5 was bad, and thought that there was no reason to proced (my bad).

Even without R7100 and without U5110, I get 0.99V on SMC_RESET_L

I think that something is burning R5100, because I already replaced 3, and the third is bad again (23k ohm). It seams that it burns with powering on after a few tries (not sure if it makes any sense...)

R5100 was never burnt.
Onboard measurment will always show lower value.

You have a problem with SMC, or accumulated crap underneath.
Try first reballing it.
If still the same, change SMC.
