HI,

I have an A1466 820-3437-B with no power. It had liquid contact (a bit of coffee, not much), and i replaced the U1959, C1950 and R8167 that had a bit od corrosion, but with no sucess. It had the J6100 with a lot of corrosion, and I have taked it out.
It has green light, but no fan spin, and it consumes 95 mA on PSU.

The SYS_PWROK_R test point is missing and don't know if it is essencial (it had corrosion and disappeared when i cleaned with IPA), and i have 0V on SYS_PWROK_R.

Can you help?

You must check all SPI Bus Series Termination resisotrs and their traces.
Do you get any pulse on the coils?
Steady 3V3_S5/SUS?

Hi,

R6128 = 24.97 ohms
R6127 = 42.85 ohms
R6126 = 42.63 ohms
R6125 = 43.30 ohms
R6110 = 15 ohms
R6120 = 43.28 ohms
R6111 = 15 ohms
R6121 = 43.30 ohms
R6112 = 15 ohms
R6122 = 42.87 ohms
R6113 = 14.94 ohms
R6123 = 24.87 ohms
R6114 = 25 ohms
R6115 = 14.90 ohms
R6116 = 15 ohms
R6117 = 14.98 ohms

All traces seams good.

All coils seams to have the proper voltages, besides L7701 and L3095 that have 0V ( I think that's because i have no LCD connected).

3V3_S5 = 3.3 steady
PP3V3_SUS = 3.3 steady

Yes, i do, but i have 0V on pin3 of U1950.
It seams that i don't have trace between R8166 and R8167. I'm going to replace R8167...

It worked.
It seams that the R8167, besides it has the right resistance, had something wrong with it. After replacement it worked.
Thanks!
