A1502 - intermittent no backlight, should these pins have continuity?

This is a 820-4924A A1502 model. The backlight is intermittent. Worked for an hour, then went out. I was checking the board for damage and I found heavy corrosion at Q7700 P1/2/3. I removed that component and cleaned the pads. I've got continuity between pins 2 and 3 and from the schematic, it looks like there should NOT be. Can I get a confirmation on that?

Of course, pin 2 is output (Drain) and 3 is control (Gate).
Do you talk about MOSFET pads?
If yes, change it.
If is about board pads, clean the traces...
