a1502 power issue

It has no visible liquid damage. When using a 60 watt charger, the ppbus is 12.6v but it does not boot with the charger alone. When booting off the battery, it will power cycle. The cpu vcore it disappear every 8 seconds but when i plug the charger in then the cycling will stop. Is this an smc issue? i've replace the ISL already

in smc bypass the fan spins continuously but it still doesn't post

Did you test with original 60/85W charger for sure?

you're right. it was the charger. now it powers up and the vcore disasspears after a few seconds then it comes back and stays. but still no usb activity. when using the battery the vcore disappears every 8 seconds

What about PLT_RESET_L behavior?

Test with known good BIOS, just in case.

plt_reset_l is 3.3v except it disappears right with the vcore
