Hi,

I have an A1534 that has no power. Client says that after replacing the battery, It never powered on again.

I can't see any knocked components on board.

It pulls 20V from ampmeter, but consumes 0A.

PPBUS_G3H = 8.68V
PPVIN_G3H_P3V3G3H = 1.370V
PPBUS_S5_HS_COMPUTING_ISNS = 1.081V
PPVBUS_LIO = 20V
PPDCIN_G3H = 0.204V
PP3V3_G3H = 0V

Can you help?

Now, without nothing being made, It started to pull only 5.14V and 0.13A on ampmeter

USBC_XA_CC1 has 0.591 and USBC_XA_CC2 has 0.604 on diode reading.

Hi,

It was U1900 that was shorting PP3V3_G3H. After replacing It, the short is gone, and now I have 0.340 diode reading.

However, the mac still doesn't power on, and only puls 5V from ampmeter. Shall I replace U3100?

PP3V3_UPC_XA_LDO:
Voltage = 3.332V
Diode =0.445

PP1V8A_UPC_XA_LDO:
Voltage = 1.797V
Diode =0.531

PP1V8D_UPC_XA_LDO:
Voltage = 1.801V
Diode =0.490

PP1V1_UPC_XA_LDO_BMC:
Voltage = 0V
Diode =0.520

First I've replaced U3090 w/o sucess, and so I've replaced U3100, and now I have 20V again, but still no power on. It only puls 0.03A from ampmeter.
Ampmeter only works on one side of USB-C
