A1708 2017 00840 SSD ISSUE

Hello

The computer boots up and works fine with charger connected, if charger disconnected the computer wont boot and it shows the folder on the screen.
I know might be the issue with these SSDs. This one also needs battery replacement. My questions are,

1. If i replace the battery for a "Status: normal" one, will I still see the folder problem when not connected to charger?

2. is this SSD reliable? Could it present more issues in the future?

These SSDs seem to have a problem with internal power generation, when battery level goes down.
So status battery reported by macOS, doesn't really matter.

The issue persist with the battery charged.

Any comment on the other questions?

Test with another SSD.

Getting an adapter to M2 may be another option.
Be aware, some of them may generate more damage; don't buy the cheapest.
