A1932 820-01521 no power

Hi,

I have an A1932 820-01521 that doesn't power on. It has 19V and reaches 0.6A on ampmeter, fan spins and CPU gets hot.

DFU revive finishes without any error (with just a lock logo), but it has no USB activity.

All big coils have voltages, except L7410/30 that have 0V and 0.10 on diode reading

Can you help?

iGPU core voltage is not expected, so 0V there is not a problem.
Monitor CPU core voltage and compare its behavior with good board.

Any history available?

Hi,

Client said it stoped working overnight.

Another A1932 just came in, and now I can compare them.

On the good A1932:

CPUCORE_PHASE1 = 0.9V
CPUCORE_PHASE2 = 0.7V

On the bad A1932:

CPUCORE_PHASE1/2 has 1.075V

If there is no important data, try DFU restore.
If data need to be saved, it can be done in DFU mode, by an Apple authorized service center.
