A2141 doing odd things when on charge and lid closes

So my personal Mac has been acting weird for a while now.
I can use it fine while plugged in on charge. No issues at all. When on battery it lasts around 6 hours of continuous use.
However-if it’s plugged in on charge (86watt charger) and I shut the lid, 9 times out of ten I have to hold the power button to get it to turn on. It’s also quite warm to the touch. Even after being left for 8 hours. When it does boot up I’m always greeted with an error message saying couldn’t shut down properly. Then gives me a panic log to report.
Another thing I noticed is while on charge the Touch ID does not work. If I remove the cable it all works fine again.
this happens on all 4 ports.
doesn’t matter if I shut it down or put it to sleep if does the same thing. Have attached pictures below so you can see what I mean.

ive ran it in diagnostics mode and no faults where found.
Any help would be good as a lot of guys I know that fix macs are stumped. 4E0D0249-7F0E-45F3-8276-F0D0B57F8B14.jpeg

Possibly Hall sensors issue; inspect J4802 for corrosion.
Check ANGLE_SENSOR_ND/MGL and IPD_LID_OPEN with lid open/close.
You can use a magnet, moving it back and forth to Hall sensors.
