artifacts on the display. I think the problem is most likely in the display itself. But I would like to understand what is broken and what needs to be replaced. What leads to such a problem? What are your steps other than replacing the display?
why is there no image when replacing the t-con? is it possible to replace the t-con entirely? or do you just need to mess around with the chips? is there a link between the t-con and the display?
The memory placed on T-CON stores some adjustments.
Some are MLB specific; as you already know, that memory and display controller must be changed when replace entire LCD assembly on new models.
This avoids the artifacts on top side LCD.
I suppose that also display adjustments are stored there.
So you can try to change only the memory; or both chips.
Replacing T-CON board is also possible.
Not an easy job, but doable; I saw some video somewhere...
