Hi, good morning.

According to the customer, the Mac restarted after a few hours of working on it and then stopped booting into the system.
All awake and main power lines are present in the NAND modules and are not clinging.
I have tried the revive option, which goes through all the steps without any error.
However, upon restart, a folder with a question mark appears.
In recovery mode, it goes to the main installation screen, but when I try to open Disk Utility, it restarts.
In target disk mode, the other Mac can see the storage, and I can access the files. I even cloned the system from the other Mac, but it won't boot from it.
My question is, can a corrupt NAND still be accessible in target disk mode?
I've replaced the U9000. but still same.

Thank you.

Quick update for the community.

After replacing the following components, I was able to reinstall the system as usual:

  • U7800 Power Management IC
  • U9000 SSD NAND Power IC
  • U9080 SSD & PP3V3_G3H Power chip
