A2337 820-02016-07 no power

Hi,

I have an A2337 820-02016-07 with no power, that puls 5.16V and 0A from ampmeter.

The mac had liquid contact (water), and UF400/500 CC1/2 and LDO seams to be ok ondiode reading.

I can't find the power aliases on my sdhematics.

Can you help?

Can't find PPBUS_AON and 3V8_AON?

Hi,

Both PPBUS_AON (measured on F5200) and 3V8_AON have 0V

3V8_AON has 0.164 on diode reading and PPBUS_AON has 0.560 on diode reading

PPVBAT_AON_CHGR_REG also has 0V and 0.510 on diode reading

PPBUS_AON is mandatory; is the mother of all other voltages.

Do you get 5V at R5220?
Post U5200 basic voltages; P_IN, AUX_DET, VDD/P, AUX_OK, A/BMON.

Yes, I have 5.171V on R5220.

U5200:
P_IN = 5.171V
AUX_DET = 0.006V
VDD = 5.084V
VDDP = 5.082V
AUX_OK = 0.001V
AMON = 0.009V
BMON = 0.001V

Fix this problem; start checking in diode mode.
If bad reading, remove C5216 and test again; if still bad, change U5200.
If good reading, replace R5215.

It always amazes me how you manage to identify the causes. I keep trying to figure out how you figured out that this resistance was the cuplrit, but I can't figure it out.
