A2442 CD3217B12 replacement

Hi have this A2442 macbook, with liquid damage. Both fuses read 12.34v. 3 ports on amp meter report 5v, .15amps then goes to .3 amps

one USB port does not even power amp meter. tested good port on same connector, no power to amp meter

If I need to replace CD3217B12,, can it come from a different model board(i.e. A1989), or does it have to be from same A2442?

You should get it from same donor board, same position in the MLB.

BTW, A1989 doesn't use CD3217.

on one capacitor PP1V5_UPC1_LDO_Core, im getting a reading of .34 (diode mode), OBData says it should be .52


is this difference significant to swap cd3217? or is there a range of acceptable fluctation in meter readings?

You should be more confident comparing the readings between CD3217 chips of your MLB, than OBData...
